Being a Geek, not only play video games and read Comics. As is repeated regularly, Geek culture is much broader and includes in particular the films and series fantasy or SF. In this field, we have discovered a new web series concept interesting and tantalizing trailers, Avaliëa.
AVALIËA WHAT IS? Rudy Prévaud, Community Manager of the team, tells the story:
"Avaliëa is a web-fantasy series in which a young redhead, Guiwenneth, is forced to flee his village that was massacred by a northern people. She comes across a strange little girl who gives him the burden of carrying a branch of the World Tree Yggdrasil, supposed to guide the people of Avaliëa. The Nordic people, the Yggdras sends a Valkyrie extractor, Sunniva, to seize the industry to try to heal a disease that strikes Yggdrasil and the people itself. Luckily Guiwenneth falls on Rhyslann, a former knight in exile, who decides to protect her. »

Disable AutoPlay More than just a series Avaliëa benefit from the features offered by the Internet, including the YouTube player. Indeed, some episodes will offer Internet users a choice at an important time in history. There will be a "good choice" that will access the following episodes and a "bad choice" will return to a full episode but leading to the end of the web series. This is a kind of exit door offering viewers the consequences of bad choices including how this choice leads to the end of the series. A very interesting idea that can give more content to the story and also to reflect on the choices of directors.

Disable AutoPlay THE BIRTH OF THE UNIVERSE AVALIËA Rudy also took the time to explain how the project was born and how did it materialize:
"Django Large and Gael Sacred wanted to create a web series together since 2011, but certain conditions were not met to carry out this idea, including the distance between them. In 2012, Gael began to develop the idea of the universe Avaliëa through a series of photographs and a role play. The conditions were met, however, for them to work together, the two co-directors therefore decided to create their web-series of their dreams from that pretend to already created universe, and thus was born Avaliëa The Web Series. They created the World Tree which now serves as their artistic support both for their respective projects. »
COLLABORATIVE SUCCESS? Now that you are captivated by the story, we can tell you more about the project and Avaliëa team. Indeed, all the team, achieving up actors are volunteers (for those who know there will be "Benzaie" which will play in the series!). To run the project, so they need a little financial boost and they have appealed to crowdfunding (crowdfunding). A minimum of 5,000 euros are necessary for the filming of the first season, mainly for equipment, costumes, and to broadcast the series. If you want to support the project, you can give from 5 on Avaliëa project on Ulule. Depending on your donation, you will have a row, each row accompanied by rewards: Whisper mist, Avaliëen, passing or not Baron Knight and up to Valkyrie, the ultimate stage.
